Privacy Center
Private by design, useful by default
Temporary analysis, rolling live monitoring, derived metrics, user-controlled save points, and clear deletion events.
Alignyx processing architecture
Raw audio is temporary unless the user chooses otherwise.
StudioIQ is built around short-lived analysis paths: browser decoding, rolling live monitoring, derived signal outputs, explicit project save decisions, and visible deletion moments.
Temporary Analysis
Uploads enter a temporary local analysis path. StudioIQ extracts metadata, levels, issue signals, scores, and recommendations, then keeps the derived report instead of raw audio.
Rolling Live Monitoring
Recording Guardian uses live input metering for clipping, too-quiet signal, and room-noise guidance. Live microphone audio is not saved by the local product build.
Derived Metrics
StudioIQ stores useful signal outputs: duration, sample rate, peak, RMS, headroom, dynamic range, noise-risk indicators, and plain-English engineering direction.
User-Controlled Save Points
Projects save metadata, reports, taste direction, checklists, notes, revisions, and package state. Raw audio retention remains a separate explicit product decision.
Backend-Ready Data Model
Projects, reports, score sets, detected issues, privacy events, and raw-audio save flags remain separate so Supabase storage and Row Level Security can be added cleanly.
Deletion Events
The Sound Ledger and Privacy Timeline make clearing buffers and save choices visible, so artists can trust what happened after the file was analyzed.
What we keep
Project name, artist name, status, created and updated dates
File metadata and derived signal metrics
Scores, detected issues, recommendations, reports, and checklists
Taste Profile, Collaboration Notes, Revision Room, World Rooms, Release Package, and Sound Ledger state
What we do not keep
Raw vocal or beat audio by default
Live microphone audio from Recording Guardian
Decoded AudioBuffer channel data after temporary analysis
Permanent raw storage unless a future explicit save control is chosen by the user
Private by design
Default StudioIQ processing timeline
The user selected files for analysis.
Audio enters a short-lived analysis path.
StudioIQ keeps metrics, scores, and recommendations.
Temporary audio buffers are cleared after analysis.
Raw audio is retained only after an explicit save choice.
